Like Charles Dicken’s A Tale of Two Cities (London, 1859), what is briefly presented in this book is two-fold: firstly, the story of the city of Port Harcourt and secondly, the story of some of the natives of the Port Harcourt Area.
The Story of Port Harcourt is told in the first seven chapters of the book, whereas the story of some Very Important Personalities of the Port Harcourt Area is told in Chapter 8. Both stories reinforce one another.
